Anyway, common tests are finally over~

And today's my last day working this week cause I took leave for X'mas dinner tomorrow, with the family. Can't wait to see Kayi and Muni! Miss them soo much, they were my 'Candice Swanepoels' when I was little. I wanted to be just like them! until I saw Candice in her first VS show (2007 VSFS) in 2008 on Channel 5. But they were playing the 2007 VSFS cause Ch5 is THAT SLOW in broadcasting. Anyway, she was wearing the cute little furry hoodie! And holding some skiis :D I just knew she was one of the pretty models and then I got confused when Rosie came out hahaha! Back then I didn't know their names yet but I was pretty good with faces. :D

So yeah, bak to my leave, I took leave for nearly the rest of the month cause I'm going to Taiwan on 17th Dec with my lil cousins and then I'll be back to help out on for X'mas and New Year's Eve :((

Victoria's Secret @ 313

So I've been told a few weeks back that Valiram will have its 4th VS outlet at Somerset @ 313. I went to Somerset today and saw this huge poster of CANDICE!!! :D Totally made my day just looking at it, picture perfect. And I know, y'all must be thinking why am I at work on a Saturday? Cuz I'm having exams this coming week and I requested to to take leave :) until after Christmas cuz I'll be going to Taiwan right after exams!

Happy Belated Birthday Candice!

Wow I'm so tired out from the first week at work, I'm only working the night shift for 3 days out of the week. Cuz that's all the time I have, juggling school with work is no joke. But as of now I'm still excited and cheery to go to work hehe! :) I have two supervisors, Ashley and Eve. Eve is serious and Ashley is like a mom :) And my other colleagues are Dilah, Nana, Joyce and Jessica. Jessica is my buddy for the week, so anything that I don't know I'll learn from her. So far so good, everyone is nice to me! 

And I really need to get more black clothes! Really doesn't help that my wardrobe is so colourful with very little black clothing. Sigh, haven't even get my first pay check and I have to spend. :( Oh well, anw, it was Candice's birthday on my first day of work but I worked till midnight and I was so tired the next day, when I woke up I only had time to prepare and rush off for work at 1:30pm.

First day of work at VS & Candice's 24th B'day

So today is my first day of work at VS RWS and it happens to also be Candice's birthday today! This is fate haha! Anyway, I just reached home, luckily there's company cab to send us back. Only on Fridays and Saturdays when we close at midnight then there will be company cab, other times we close at 10:30pm and I have to catch the last 963 home :( I'm only working on Saturday, Sunday and Mondays for the late shift from 3pm onwards though, cause those are the only days I'm free. Today I worked from 3pm straight all the way till midnight with no breaks... Should've just said okay to having the break. I didn't want my break at first cause I won't be paid during my break (paid $7.50/hr). But now I think I might need it in future hehe! I am human after all~ 

Gotta sleep now, I musn't be late tomorrow! :(

First day of work at VS!

So a few weeks back Jasmine told me that Victoria's Secret was opening it's first store at Ion. Xinfang and Juliene also WA-ed me the above photo on 29th Sept lol! You can see little Jubs there!

So the next day I decided to try my luck since it's been my dream to work at VS for my first proper job/part-time job. I sent in my cover letter together with my resume to the Valiram careers email on the 30th September 2012 and on 3rd October 2012 they called and emailed me to come down for an interview the next day! :D Super excited!! WEEEE!~~ Thankfully, Zihui was able to accompany me to the office for the interview hehe! The interviewer Cynthia was really pretty. :) Actually I think that the interview wasn't that necessary cuz I think she just needed to know what I looked like, is my behaviour acceptable,etc. And its also cuz she handed me the official application form like right from the beginning before she even started to interview me, lol. Moving on, so on 13th October 2012 their HR rep emailed me to come down to the office to sign the 3 month contract! WOOHOO! Just nice, cuz after the contract ends, I'd have exams coming up and my 6-months internship after the exams.

So I'm starting work tomorrow! Hehe! And tomorrow is Candice's birthday! OMG! It's fate haha! Starting work on my idol's birthday :DD A VS Angel at that!

Hope my colleagues are nice! Wish me luck! :D

Okay it's not yet his birthday but I'm just so excited about the card I made! Hehe! Putting it on hold before I post this pic on the actual day :D

It's not supposed to be like print-like it's supposed to look like I made it which I did, so do not judge on the disproportion-ness of it :)

Love it when I get like random bursts of inspirations to do handmade cards, I wish I had taken pictures of all the cards I've ever made, I really loved the one I made for Wan'er earlier this year? Or was it last year? I really can't remember, but it's all using the same set of Faber Castle markers I got years ago for $6? Brilliant. :) My cards are sort of liek and expression of my feelings and also my impression of my friends' style etc, what ever my impression of their identity is. :D

So anyway, happy birthday in advance gabriel! Can't wait to see you later and I hope you like it!

June's bits and pieces of my life

2nd June: My textbook became a sketch book for MrCheerfulside.

8th June: Got my "Create your own Tumbler" from Starbucks! Gonna put Candice on it! ;)

13 June: Just removed my favourite nail polish! It's Matt! *Sobs* Can only be found in HK, according to Shuxin. Imma hunt it down! Thanks Shuxin for letting me use it one last time!

27 June: Jason Lam trying to cover his shirt stain from lunch with correction fluid LOL!!

29 June: Class doodles on the whiteboard! We were writing our names to be in line to get our work marked so that we can leave tha class ASAP!! 

Trouble always comes in a mush, don't they?

I've been told about this a lot of times but i never thought that it'll happen so soon. My mom was like "I'll find somewhere to stay, Nicholas will probably go to Jinde's or one of his friends' place to stay then you'll ask your friends if you can stay at their place for awhile."

I was like 'what?!' in my mind. The only ones that might have space for me to stay, I'm not so close to them/ they are guys so my mom probably wouldn't allow it. And I don't wanna burden Abbey by staying at her place since even though her house is kinda big but if I did go over it'll be too crowded. Maryanne's place isn't a good idea too cause she's hosting her dad's friend's daughter Chloe. 

Why is all this happening now when I have so much to take care of? I have to tutor a little girl, Phyu Phyu, on Saturday mornings, and I have more ballet trainings now cause I'm taking exams this August/September. Plus, i have to set out time to really start studying properly to pull up my GPA.. 

How am I supposed to accomplish all this when suddenly, all the odds are against me?! I wasn't even really prepared for this! Suddenly everything starts going down so quickly, I don't even have time to think through for the best solution :'(

My mom did say "or the 2 of you can stay here first while I find a place then we'll move out after that."

So now, if I have to come home late no one will be there to fetch me, like after my trainings at night and I'll have to set a side a few hours every week for house work which my brother will probably not help out most of the time... I turning into a weekend maid! I don't mind... Since its my laundry but I HAVE NO TIME!

What did I do to deserve all this?! Is being fat and ugly and not tall with no talents or smarts not good enough??? And it's not like im not putting in effort at all to tone up.

And for a scandal to really blow up, all it needs is an unexpected turn. - Gossip Girl

Okay this isn't a scandal, but it was an unexpected turn of events.
And I just thought it suits the episode (Ep13) where Chuck and Nate stepped on each other's toes so :)

Booked out of camp at 9-ish this morning. I know its really early, like right after Day 1. Some things cropped up, so all of us left camp today except Charles.

Really worried about N and J, they fought right after the coordinator told us to close our station but the rest of the nightwalk station was still going on (there was only 3 of us at our station and we planned it). Can't say the whole situation out here since its really supposed to be private even though everything happened right before my eyes.

But from my point of view and from whatever I could recall, J was really not being reasonable when he was trying to back up his actions. From what I saw, he really didn't kept his word and was just kinda making excuses that he did kept his word.

Kind of complicated. Have never seen them so angry before and I was really so afraid that one of them was gonna throw the first punch. really super lost. After that they told me to join another station while they go somewhere else to 'settle' it. When J left and N came to talk to me after receiving my text. I've never seen anyone so sad in my life, so sad that he had no more tears but to laugh it off.

Really hate seeing friends become like this, I feel I should talk to J since I witnessed everything so my judgement should be more accurate than what they tell others. But I'm afraid that the blur-bimbo me will just make things worse. Or might even make J think that I'm ungrateful and seem biased.

I should really take some time to think through what to say when I see J in school when school starts.. 

Other than this, I made some friends i guess? More like acquaintance? I don't know, I guess if you have talked to them some what, and they call your name, which proves they know who you are then you're friends already right? Maybe not close friends but just hi-bye-ish friends? That's not too bad :)
