Super exhausted today, mentally and physically (actually just my feet). Been super long since I've actually been out an entire day hiking in 3 inch stiletto heels!
Even though mine are brand new and comfy (they didn't give me blisters of any sort) heels are heels after all, they will hurt after walking in them for prolonged periods without rest. And the pain is always at the ball of the foot. Thank goodness for my 15 years of ballet training, I can bear with the pain more without having to practice wearing them around frequently.
Was out all day teetering in my stilettos, hiking temples in them! HAHA! I don't know how I did it, but I'm glad I survived, I DID CANDICE PROUD :) It's really a workout to walk in heels all day, no wonder Candice and all other supermodels are so slim!
And I forgot how it hurts more whenever you put on your heels again to walk in them after taking them off for awhile. It's more bearable to just leave them on and rest your feet in them instead.
So yes, I was REALLLY tired walking around all day in those, and I'm mentally exhausted cuz I didn't have enough sleep to begin with. Tried really hard to get some studying done yesterday but I just kept getting distracted and wasted the whole day. The only productive thing I ended up doing was my ab workout and Candice butt routine before I went to bed at 3am :(
Almost surrendered to my bed and skip visiting the temples, but it's like CNY isn't fun anymore if we don't visit the temples you know. HAHA! I'm not a hardcore Buddhist, my parents are Buddhists,but I consider myself very much a Free Thinker. I just don't mind going to the temple on CNY just for the sake of getting into the festive mood haha! Otherwise just plain house visits would be boring.
But I've this fear everytime I visit temples is that ash from the joss sticks will fall onto me and disfigure me HAHA! It happened once to me, but I wasn't disfigured, just got a blister and a temporary scar which went away in a few months.
So yeap, as usual, when ever my Mom says we gotta leave my Yipo's house, I'd always say "Huh, why so fast?!?!" The only part I like about visiting is going to my Yipo's house and bonding with my cousins. They were my idols, like Candice Swanepoel to me now, during my childhood days. So yeah, I always miss talking to them. I guess it's also cuz I never had a sister so I'd be excited to meet them each time. I used to go over for sleepovers a lot when I was younger. But I'm still thankful that I don't have a real sister cuz then I won't have anyone to be compared to, I'd probably be more depressed than now HAHA!
