Forever New

Finally got my laptop sleeve today at Forever New after so many failed attempts! :D
It's $39.90 but I think it's worth it cause the design is so me! At least that's what Abbey said I spotted it! Not only that, it's waterproof too! And the inner lining is so sophisticated too! Totally awesome quality!






This last picture is the true colour, but I think it's also nice in the yellowish photo above. Like vintage! ;D

They only had it in one colour so Zihui and I ended up buying the same laptop sleeve.

Here's what happened today. Initially, we went to Orchard Ion cause Karen told us that Ripples have very nice laptop sleeves. But I really wasn't in love with any, but Zihui found one that she liked. So she bought it first, afraid that she won't find anything nicer before school starts in a week. I didn't have to rush, cause I can just use my new Everlast backpack to keep my laptop even if I didn't own a laptop sleeve. :D

Afterwards, I was really starting to settle on DIY-ing my own laptop sleeve so we headed down to City Hall hoping to walk to Bras Basar (did I spell correctly?) to the Art Supplies shop. So while finding our way out of Raffles City Shopping Mall, Abbey spotted Forever New! Honestly speaking we've never heard of this shop till today. :P Anyway, the clothes are so gorgeous and so Abbey! We went in to try some clothes, and when we were leaving (the clothes are really ex!), I spotted the laptop sleeve! V^.^V

I was so dead set on buying it the moment I laid eyes on it! HAHAHA! And I could tell Zihui was so sian-ed about it, cause it's OBVIOUSLY better than the one she bought at Ripples. Also cause we try not to buy the same things too often, we are not the kind of girls who are "We are bestfriends so we must have all the same things!" So she was like " you buy it bah, anyway you spotted it first". But I felt sad for her cause she sorta wasted her money on the Ripples one... So I asked her to just buy it, cause it's better that we have the same sleeve than someone else having the same sleeve as us. It's not as if all our clothes & accessories are the same so we can be distingushed. (Maybe people will think we're weird, like we're bestfriends but we wanna be obviously different as much as possible. hahaha! But I think it's still alright to have the same things at times. I mean, how can you be bestbuds if you don't have some things in common right?) So anyway, we decided to get the same ones and go to Ripples (thank god they had another branch at Raffles City, or else we'll have to train all the way back to Orchard!) to exchange the Ripples sleeve for flipflops or something.

Yup, so basically that's what happened! At least we don't have to waste anymore trips to Orchard/Bugis/ anywhere else just to find our laptop sleeve anymore!
